Who Am I?

Before I tell you who I am, let me tell you who I am not. I am not a Religious Scholar, nor am I a scholar of the Bible. I am not in the clergy, I do not have a degree in Religion. I do not teach or ever have taught any Religion. I am no ones  savior, I am not a Religious fanatic. Now, who am I?
I am a man who was Baptized and raised Roman Catholic, although I was never a good Catholic. What I mean by that is when growing-up, I was never a turn the other cheek type of guy. I was raised on the Lower East Side of Manhattan in New York City, so I had street values which didn't coincide with my Religion, but I always believed in God and I did go to church on Christmas and Easter and prayed on occasion.

Now I am a man who is 65 years old and over the past 10 years or so I started to reflect on my life, even though I am now more Religious than I was 10 years ago, I still am not a fanatic about it. I did go to confession, which I was a little nervous about, seeing how the last time I went was when I was married 32 years ago. I wish I had a camera to take a picture of the Priests face when I said "It has been 30 years since my last confession." The biggest surprise for me was sitting in the church looking around for the confessionals, they don't have them anymore, which I was kinda sad about. They also didn't  have real candles, now you press a button and a light bulb comes on.

I have 3 children who were also Baptized Catholic, but my biggest regret in life was not bringing them up more Religious.

I started this blog because I am watching our society collapse before my eyes, this country was founded on Judeo-Christian principals and little by little they are disappearing. There has been a steady decline of Religion from the 1950's when I was growing up to present day, and you can align it with the decay of our society, the less Religion, the more moral decay. Lets face it the values and morality of America are shot and that's a sad thing.

I'm just an average guy who see's our society crumbling, and I truly believe that it is because God is being removed from our society little by little, and the more we move away from God, the more he will move away from us.

It's time for Christians to start fighting back, we now live in a country where freedom from Religion is the norm, instead of the freedom of Religion that it was setup to be. It's time to stop being sheep. Join Me In The Fight.
